Kimberly Fletcher Factor 1 Literacy 1 practicum. Contextual Factor Instructional Implications Number of Students;22 Female;11 Male;11 The class is actually very even. The teacher does not show any preference of a certain gender. I had a male student, so we did a lot of hands on activities. Ethnic and Cultural make-up; Sam is a white male. The school in general seemed very diverse. They had a mixture of races and cultures. I did not work within Sam’s class room, so I’m not sure about the ethnic makeup. From what I noticed there seemed to be a mixture of white, black and Asian. Socio economic status. and make up The school seemed to be average. The homes in the area seemed well kept, and the community was very clean and nicely maintained. Sam comes from a middle class family. Sam comes from a middle class home. He was always dressed nicely, and well groomed. The other students all seemed to come from good homes. This is a middle class working group. Classroom environment
