Extra Credit: Concert ReportYou may turn a concert report for extra credit. Reports are worth 3 raw points added to your grade. However, if you attend and write about the Peter Sprague Beatles tribute at The Loft on Tuesday, November 13, you will receive 5 points instead of 3.Doors open for Sprague at 7:30. Tickets are free for students of this class.Concert reports should be no more than 2 pages. In them, you should describe the concert you saw as completely as possible: What was the band like? What instruments? How did they relate to the audience? Did the way they dressed or acted affect the audience's response? What was the audience like? What ages? Clothing? Manner? And most importantly: How does the concert or performance relate to the Beatles, or the concepts we have discussed around them?Be specific.Turn in your report by the last day of section, either on paper or in email, as per your TA's preference. Include PROOF of attendance, or credit cannot be given. Some acceptable forms of proof might be: a ticket stub, a program signed by the performer or other venue personnel, a receipt showing the purchase of food, drinks or band swag with a time and date stamp establishing your presence at the venue, or a photo or video of you with the band playing behind you (or standing with you).Monday, November 12, 12
