Scientific and non-scientific methods Scientific recruitment and selection process entails analyzing a job, advertising, writing tests, personal interviews, medical scrutiny and many more. It is normally done by different experts. It usually involves lots of time, costly and energy. The main advantage of scientific recruitment is because it avoids tragedy of misfits and helps chose the right man for a right particular work. Normally the employees selected through this process become an important asset of the company while non scientific methods is opposite from scientific. There many flaws involve and the company or organization may end up employing non qualified staff putting the company at jeopardy. It is not an efficient method of getting the best employees. (Gilmore, S. and Williams, S. 2009) A scientific approach It helps find the right individual for the right work. Reduces the labor turnover and absenteeism since it selects the right individual who gets satisfaction and high morale for the work given. In this case they will not quit and leave the organization. It also reduces damages, accidents and wastage. This scientific policy selects only the qualified and the candidates most interpreted in the company. In this fact the employees will be more responsible for the company resources. A scientific approach reduces cost of supervision and training costs. The individuals chosen are interested and interested. This may greatly reduce these costs .high efficiency and productivity is also characterized by this approach. Since workers will be highly motivated the level of productivity of the company will definitely increase. (Gilmore, S. and Williams, S. 2009)
