Introduction
Family nurses play a crucial role when it comes to promoting wellness in families. They
employ different interventions to promote the health and wellbeing of families, spiritual,
biological, physical, and emotional. Craft-Rosenberg and Pehler (2011) define family health
intervention as the process through which family members achieve and maintain spiritual,
physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. My goal in this paper is to describe how I would use a
family-self-care contract to promote health and wellbeing in a family.
