Thus, the discussion under review presents areport on the various teaching strategies intended to support teaching and learning in thecourse. Part of the course highlights the significance of cultural diversity in the field ofnursing.Description of the Learning Outcomes of a CourseRegardless of the profession, the learning outcome is a crucial element as it tells thelevel of success of the training and the extent to which the various course goals andobjectives were met. This is an indication of the benefits the learners have gained upon thecompletion of the course and in the process highlight, the various ideas associated with thespecific study the learner undertook in the course. Therefore, in the case of the course underreview, the various learning outcomes include; the development of the required intellectualskills which allows the learner to use the information gained in creating, analyzing,evaluating, and putting into practice the various skills. Another learning outcome is that at theend of the course the learners must be able to comprehend and remember the different piecesof information taught in the course. Most significantly is that at the end of the course, thelearning outcome is for the learners to be able to have gained the skills needed to work incertain environments say have the skills needed in working as a caregiver in a diverse workenvironment (Kirkpatrick, 2018). In general, the course under review intends to educatenurses on the various ways to manage to work in a surrounding that is made of individuals
3from diverse backgrounds which could be patients or colleagues. Since healthcare facilitiesinvolve individuals from diverse cultures, learning about cultural diversity is crucial to aprofessional like a nurse as it grants them the knowledge and understanding to co-existdespite the cultural differences and still provide the best form of care to patients.
