The published research regarding howdifficult it can be for human resource (HR) managers to be unbiased, as well as the unconsciousattitudes that foster partiality, were crucial HRM experiences that influenced my views. I realizedfrom reading the three recommended readings for the module that it was difficult for managers tobe completely ethical. Nonetheless, I felt that considering fairness while responding to employeedemands is a critical aspect in determining whether or not a manager is ethical. While reading thearticles, I also learned that understanding certain components might help HR managers developthemselves and care more about their people.In module 2, I read course materials that interrogated the role of an HRM competencyframework in developing the employees in an organization. I learned that a competencyframework helps employees build their abilities.
