Unit II: Assessment Schedule & Exam #2 Study Guide Note: 1. Format of Exam #2 is somewhat different than that of Exam #1. Please see study guide (below) for further detail. 2. Don’t forget to bring a new blue book. Students who do not use a blue book will have 10% subtracted from their grade for this exam. 3. Questions on exam can be e-mailed to Mr. Leader or Dr. Grigg Schedule Friday October 26 Lecture Dr. Grigg regular office hours Mr. Leader office hours 7:30 – 9:30am Monday October 29 No class; Dr. Grigg in office 7:30am – 11:30am. All students are welcome, but priority will be given to students giving oral presentations Friday November 2. Wednesday October 31 Exam #2 in regular class period. Friday November 2 No class; oral presentations: Peru, New Zealand, Thailand-II, Netherlands-II Monday November 5 Class as per syllabus Group written assignments due at start of class. There are four sections.- one for each week of classes – and you will have to answer one, and only one, question from each section. However, unlike the first exam, each answer will require you to write 8 – 10 sentences and will be worth 10 points each. There will also be a number of bonus questions. Section I: Empires & Enlightenment There will be nine choices in this section. Section II: The First Revolutionary Age There will be nine choices in this section. Section III: Europe & the World in the Nineteenth Century I There will be 11 choices in this section Section IV: Europe & the World in the Nineteenth Century II There will be 5 choices in this section. Bonus Questions There are six (6) questions in this section. Different questions are worth different amounts and you can add up to four points to your exam total....
