Unit 3 WorksheetTitle of Story:Harrison BergeronDate of Original Publication:1961Author’s Name: Kurt Vonnegut JrBirth:1922Death: 2007Name of Main Character (Protagonist) and description of that character’s dominanttraits or features. Include the background and values of this character:It was hard for me to tell who the actual protagonist was in this story, I feel like George Bergeron is, but due to the fact everyone is “equal” in the story it is hard to tell. I initiallythought that Harrison was, but instead I feel he is more of an anti-hero and antagonist. George Bergeron, the father of Harrison is a “normal” person in the society. He has a handicap radio in his ear that emits loud noises every 20 seconds to limit his thought processes and has to wear 40 pounds of birdshot around his neck also; this shows that without these handicaps he would be a strong and intelligent man. At one point in the story his wife suggest that he should empty the birdshot out, but he believes in the government and refuses to limit his handicaps.Names of other characters with similar information. Also note what type of character you are discussing (antagonist, minor, peripheral):Harrison Bergeron is a fourteen year old who is also 7 feet tall, very strong and also very handsome.
