Sarah Hall Expectations of a University Student A personal goal has always been something I set for myself and strived to reach. My personal best is not perfection, but excellence. In a class of three-hundred people, I do not expect to be the smartest, but that should not impair my ability to do as well as I can. I expect to be challenged and to receive an education that is worth the thousands of dollars I am paying in order to be here. I am not going to waste that money just because I feel inferior to others. I will push myself to do my best and strive for excellence. My goals as a University student are to receive an exceptional education while growing as a person and finding my true passion. I expect to reach these goals and succeed while raising the bar. I set certain standards for myself when I entered college in order to reach these goals and expectations. These include attending all of my classes on a regular basis, completing the assignments to the best of my ability, and bettering my knowledge of whatever field I choose to pursue. My current major is technical theatre with an emphasis in stage management. Although I may decide to pursue
