COMBINING NURSE LEADERIntroductionThe ability to realize our own strengths and weaknesses is very important in our lives besides our careers. Apart from the positivity’s, the negativities are equally important as they make us keep on improving and getting better in life and this draws us closer to our goals through the experiences we go through in life. A better understanding of oneself in very key to the recognition of one’s weaknesses and it helps in overcoming such shortcomings in the nursingfield (Carson, 2005). Knowledge on strengths and weaknesses also makes us better in leadership.Personal accountability enables one to be held responsible for their own work and the quality of their actions by others (Basset, 2005). Professional accountability makes professionals to be held responsible for their actions within their work place (Fahrenwald, 2005). One of my greatest personal and professional strengths is that I am a well-organized person. This has been my culture both at work and even away from work. I always write down all that I have to do prioritizing the most important first and also the procedure in which to undertake such activities. It has also made me be able to perform my duties in good time and without procrastination and this is highly associated with my hardworking personality. Secondly, I have excellent communication skills. This strength makes me communicate well with patients and get along well with my colleagues. I strive to do my duties professionally with the interests of the patients
