Things we should be aware of like safe purchasing,storing, preparation and serving of our food, to prevent many harmful bacteria from poisoningour family.3
Safe Purchasing PracticeSafe purchasing practices include but are not limited to where you shop and how youtransport your groceries home. Purchasing from a reputable supplier is the first step towards ahappier heathly home. Purchasing meat from ill reputed suppliers can have many harmful effectssome of this meat is already contaminated with bacteria that can cause foodborne illnesses suchas salmonella on poultry, e coli in ground beef.Luckily our family doesn’t eat seafood our but ifwe chose to we should be extremely careful in selecting seafood in the markets. For freshproduce organic is best however in our home I know this isn’t likely going to be the only thingwe eat as it can get pricey and out of budget. We must be aware of how we are putting thesethings into our carts in the store. Ensuring a physical barrier between our meats and ready to eatitems is paramount.
