Week 1 2For this weeks’ assignment the concept we are using the properties of real numbers, specifically using them to simplify algebraic expressions. This is the process by which I take a complex equation and simplify it through the use of properties of real numbers. A real world useof this is something as simple as getting gas. When we are driving around looking for the cheapest price, we are automatically using algebra. When we look for that cheapest price we are figuring out how many gallons we will get for our money. The first algebra equation was: 2a(a-5)+4(a-5). Miller first set to simplifythe problem would be to change this attraction action to addition and make my positives and negatives. My new equation is now: 2a(a+-5)+4(a+-5). The next step is to use the distributive property to remove the parentheses.Once I use the distributive property and products my new equation at:(2a)(a)+2a(-5)+4(a)+4(-5). From not planning on I then use the commuter property to rearrange
