Vanmelle Justin vanMelle Bio 103-80 Cymbolya Breast Cancer As people are becoming more aware of the rising numbers of breast cancer patients, people are taking more action in helping fight and prevent this growing problem. For women, breast cancer is the biggest cause of death that is cancer-related ( Kearney, March 8). Breast cancer awareness has been a big helper in fighting this form of deadly cancer. Every woman is at risk of developing breast cancer, and should take the necessary precautions to help detect any signs of it from the very beginning. As more and more women battle this fight, everyone is beginning to join the fight in stopping breast cancer worldwide. Breast cancer is a severe and deadly cancer that can develop in your body by mutation of cells in the breast tissue (Breast Cancer, March 8). There are many different forms of breast cancer that one could develop. The most common forms are: Lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS), ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), infiltrating lobular carcinoma (ILC), and infiltrating ductal carcinoma (IDC) ( What is Breast Cancer, March 6). In situ is a term used to describe any cancer that has not spread further than where it originated from. Lobular carcinoma in situ, is not classified as breast cancer, but occurs
