The game of baseball was formalized by Alexander Cartwright in 1845 and first played in 1846. Since the birth of baseball, many rules and strategies have been invented to give teams an edge over their opponents. “90 Feet between home plate and first base may be the closest man has come to perfection,” became a well-known baseball quote from the lips of Red Smith. However, many believe that the ninety feet between third base and home plate is the closest distance from perfection. Once a man reaches base, he has succeeded but he has not achieved perfection until he scores by touching home plate. What is the most daring and effective way to get from third base to home plate?
