Caucasian minority group New stone age: Yayoi culture o First inhabited in western Japan --> migrated eastward o Made pottery from wheel o Agriculture: rice with irrigation (wet rice cultivation) o Using bronze and iron o Developed into tomb culture Influence by Korean culture o Had curved jewel o In year 400 BC, scribes came from Korea to introduce Japanese to Chinese language/writing
