(B24-R158) Required Textbook: Hult, Pride, and Ferrell. (2014), Marketing, 17 th Edition. South-Western. Catalogue Course Description: Introduction to the basic concepts and principles of marketing. Focuses on providing students with a conceptual framework for understanding the role of marketing in society and the firm. Topics include the marketing concept, market segmentation, target marketing, demand estimation, product management, channels of distribution, promotion, and pricing. Prerequisite: ENGL 214 Exams: There will be 3 exams (two majors and a final) during the semester based on the material covered in your text book and other material covered in the class. Exams will contain MC, short essay, and open-end questions.
