Abstract
When a student plans to go to college setting themselves up for success is vital to the
learning process. They should make sure they utilize the resources available to them. Research
the many strategies to help manage time. Also, the many different techniques to reading will help
a student to prepare for the massive amount of reading that they will be required to do. When a
student attends CSU Global there are many resources that the school offers to help them along
the way. One that is underutilized is the writing center. They are there to help so use it!

Introduction
So, a young adult decided to take the next step in their education journey and go to college.
Going to college is one of the essential parts of a person’s success in life. They will need to plan
to be organized and manage their time wisely. There are many lessons that will be learned along
the way that a student will carry with them for many years to come. The progress they will make
from start to finish will be amazing. If a student applies themself and utilizes the skills, they will
be taught; the student will go far in the working world.
