1. I believe employers put a lot of empathizes on the interview because it is the first time many of them will actually interact with the prospective worker. It is proven that first impressions are important and many employers unconsciously judge their hires on what they first perceive them as. Also the first interview and subsequent interviews is often a good predictor of how a person will act around others. Thus an interview determines how well a new employee will fit into the workplace and how well he or she will fit in with the culture. The interviews are also voluble for assessing the applicant’s skills in applied mental skills level of conscientiousness and interpersonal skills. In the increasingly team focus work environment it is important that a person's relationship skills are investigated or else there may be conflict.
