Blaine Buddell November 14, 2007 PSY 113 Fight Club I chose to analyze the movie Fight Club because it has a few different disorders in it. Fight Club is about a guy that creates an organization that shows people that they are not living life to the fullest. In a sense, the movie is kind of like Saw. However in the movie Fight Club the main character’s psychological disorder prevents him from realizing what is actually going on. The main character in Fight Club never gives out his real name, but he calls himself Tyler Durden as an alternative identity. As I said before there are a few types of disorders that Tyler displays in the movie. Tyler shows insomnia in the movie along with dissociative identities, and multiple personalities. Edward Norton is the main character in the movie, he is also the narrator. Brad Pitt plays Edward Norton’s alternate personality Tyler Durden. In the movie, Norton’s character shows signs he is paranoid because by the end of the movie he is suspicious of
