I hope havingthis degree will further my career in assisted living to the administrative level. What are some of theprogram core coursesyou are lookingforward to taking andwhy? The first course I am looking forward to is HCA-450: Quality in Health Care. Thisstrikes my interest because I’m one that takes pride in being able to make situationsbetter for others, and I believe this course will help improve that skill.Another class that seems interesting is HCA-470: Strategic Planning andImplementation in Health Care. Working in an environment with the elderly hasshown me how much planning and following plans means. Its seen daily withservice plans which may seem redundant, however they are crucial. This classhopefully bring a new depth to my current knowledge.Which courses do youanticipate being themost challenging?Explain why. After reviewing the course list one of the classes I believe is going to challenge meis HCA-255: Health Policy and Economic Analysis Care. Throughout high schooland my associate degree I was never great at economics, and I’ve never really beeninterested in political situations. So, I’m interested to see how this class goes. All the other classes don’t seem particularly challenging to me, interesting maybebut not challenging. I have always been an avid learner, one to go above and beyond.
