Prof. Mostaghimi Econ-221-05 September 25, 2007 Re: Pg. 69 Question 22 1. See attached scatter plot 2. We aren’t given what the capacity of the battery is but the unit of measurement is generally mAH Lithium Ion with the average being 800 to 900 and the extended life 1200 to 1550. By looking at the scatter plot one can see the talk time and battery life is concentrated in the 800 to 900 ranges, with the average talk time of 1.75 to 2.5 hours. 3. No, the higher batteries do not have the higher talk time, they propably just have a higher standby time. This is shown in the data; two of the 800 to 900 range phones have a talk time of over 3 hours, and only one of the higher battery phones have a talk time higher than 3 hours. (34d) I think the best graph to represent this data is the bar graph. The percentages are formatted better and easier for the reader to identify. The pie chart, even though I did the exploding, it still doesnt reflect graphically the discrepancy as well as the bar chart. The Pareto chart is flawed because we do not have frequency data for the responses. 2. (34e) I would avoid all of the mistakes including other. I would try hardest to show enthusiasm and be prepared to talk about my skills. Many people in the computer industry are sent to jobs by a recruiter with only a day or twos notice, it isnt uncommon in this field to be unfamiliar with company you are interviewing. 5...
