Movie Review Bua 331 Kyle Bouffard February 27, 2008 Section 1 I watched the movie Hoffa. Hoffa is a biographical movie about notorious Teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa, who is played by Jack Nicholson. It follows him through is upstart in Michigan to his death. It shows his battles with Robert Kennedy and him going to prison for five years. It shows the relationship between Jimmy Hoffa and his right hand man Bobby Ciaro from when they met when Bobby was driving trucks and Hoffa urging him to join the Teamsters to both of there deaths in a random parking lot. It also shows when Hoffa gets out of prison and is not allowed to work in labor relations for 10 years, which upsets him extremely. Section 2 I really enjoyed this movie and found it very interesting. I was a bit surprised that I’d never seen it before. I feel this movie relates to class because it’s about one of the biggest unions in our countries history. It also shows all the ins and outs of how the union process works legally and illegally. I was very surprised at how hard they had to work
