Jamieson Cox: One thing I have learned from being in theworkplace — and I think anyone would tell you this — is even if you have a job that’s pretty close to yourdream job, you’re doing something that you love to do for most of the day, and you work with goodpeople, and you have a lot of freedom in how you work, there are always going to be aspects of a jobthat are unsavory, that you might not like doing. But when it’s your job, you treat even the menial tasksthat you don’t want to do with the same gravity that you treat the things that you really care about.Because it’s your job, and you have to do that. I think I would take that same mentality to my undergrad, because it’s very much the same. There are things that you really enjoy doing and then there are things that you just have to do, because they’re part of the grind and you need to get a good grade, or you need to finish a certain course. You have to do it. Andrew Wong: One of the most important things I think an employee can do to be successful in their career is to have a constant drive to improve all skills, including interpersonal, and technical, and any other skill that is involved in their job. Nobody’s perfect. Nobody is an expert at everything. So there’s always something that you can improve. And someone who has a constant drive to improve those skills will be an excellent employee....
