Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering C IV E 221 E NVIRONMENTAL E NGINEERING F UNDAMENTALS F INAL E XAM S TUDY M ATERIAL Exam format and policy: A close book exam with multiple choice questions (40%) and calculations (60%). Only faculty approved non-programmable calculators are permitted in the exam. Reading: The final examination will cover all the material we learned this semester. The focus of your final study should be the lecture notes . Reading of relevant textbook sections may help increase your understanding and appreciation of the lecture material. Relevant sections from the text (Davis and Masten 2 nd ed.) that will be useful for midterm exam preparation are listed below.
