Students are expected to have successfully completed Spanish 101 or the equivalent of such a course. There will be a focus on the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with an emphasis on speaking and listening comprehension. Students will also be able to broaden their exposure to the diversity of Hispanic culture. Required Materials : Arriba: Comunicación y Cultura. 5 th Edition. Eduardo Zayas-Bazán, Susan M. Workbook and Lab Manual. 5 th Edition Class Participation & Oral Performance : Classroom time during this course will focus on building the four skills (speaking, writing, reading and listening), with an emphasis on oral activities. In order to participate maximally, you must come to class prepared. It is important that you keep up with your homework on a daily basis.
