SCI 275 week 8 DQ Environmental Science, Ch. 14This chapter talks about where different forms of energy and where they come from. They come for introduction nations coil and oil. They are you for fuel. There are renewable form of energy. Oil is used in different factories but it is extremely dirty and heavy and hard to travel with. This is what theyusually use. This is the earth almost endless supply but eventually it will run out. The United States use a total of 30% of oil. Natural gas is 24% and 85% total of energy that is used. We rely on fossil fuels such as oil, coil and some other natural gas. Some countries use wood as their main source of energy. There are renewable energy from natural parts. In this chapter is synthetic oil and natural gas or something that we use and almost endless amount. It is not a endless amount and eventually it will be gone. Some energy can be form or converted to other energy. Example of making liquid andturned into water or turning a gas into heat or electricity. Oil, coil can be used for other things as well.Carbon dioxide is the main contributor to climate change. Human sources include:fossil-fuel-based electrical power generationfossil fuel combustion in on road motor vehicles, cars, trucks, trainsoff road engines (snowmobiles, gas powered garden tools)airplanesmarine vesselsspace heating in buildings furnaces andindustrial processesFossil fuels are natural resources such as coal, oil (including gasoline and diesel fuel) and natural gas. They are formed from the remains of ancient plant and animal life. Fossil fuel burning powers our vehicles and industries, heats and cools our buildings, and runs appliances. It also produces electricity that we use for all sorts of purposes, such as lights and computers.
