Executive Summary
This report provides an overview of public parks as established and accustomed feature of the urban
environment. For many people, visiting parks is an integral part of everyday life in the contemporary city.
The finding studies showed four types of benefits from urban parks. Economic effects including
property value and energy savings. Moreover, the Social effect including human health and climate
change. Thirdly, the Environment effect includes ecological benefits and elimination of air pollution. Also
there is a conclusion about overall, to review the advantage and disadvantage of urban parks. Written

Introduction
Urban parks are categorized as described areas of open zones, most of which are vegetation and water
dominated and usually kept for community use. Typically urban parks are greater, but also smaller
'pocket parks' can also have the character of them. By authorities, urban parks are usually locally labeled
as 'parks'.
In recent years, green structure thinking has changed from ecology to economics. Public parks are one of
the most significant elements of cities and have played a transforming part in the lifetime of city
populations. This position stretched between human beings and nature to relief the city and the citizens
(Konijnendijk, Annerstedt, Nielsen and Maruthaveeran, 2013).
Parks provide essential recreational, environmental and aesthetic benefits to our cities. They are also a
positive source of economic benefits. They boost real estate prices, raise local revenues, interest retirees
and homebuyers. In addition, a park is a strong financial investment for a city, and will help policy makers
properly assess the development and management of local parks by considering the economic effects of
parks. (Konijnendijk et al., 2013).
