After watching when the levees broke I felt about a thousand times dumber and wanted to go find spike lee and demand the about 5 hours of my life that he stole from me by making that movie back. I don’t know much about anything but it seemed to me like he already for some reason had a huge problem with the government even before Katrina and before he made that movie. it reminded me of watching a 13 year old kid complain to his friends about how his parents don’t give him enough allowance. i don’t mean to lessen the tradgedy of Katrina and I have the deepest sympathy for all its victims but last time I checked it isn’t the governments job to totally provide for us. sure they should do what they can and maybe they could have done more but when you step back and look at it they gave people who were really disobeying what the government said by staying in new Orleans when they knew it was going to get flooded a place to stay and food and water and they did it all totally free.those people could have left if they had really wanted to.if they
