Special Education Reform Essay
Students with a disability require different methods of education. When you are a
disabled student, there are many factors that you have to consider when placing them in a
classroom. Depending on the disability of the student you should take into account the preferred
methods of education. The teachers and parents will communicate and decide the best education
for the student. There are many interventions in programs that are used for early childhood
education for special needs students. The students that use transitional programs are usually for
middle school and high school special needs student. In most cases most special education
students have different needs. Teachers should always come up with creative ways of teaching
each student.
There are many different types of developmental disabilities found in each student’s or
found in young children. A parent or teacher for the referral for special education services. The
reference starts a process. This usually starts in kindergarten students. This is the best way to
conduct early intervention to help students with disabilities. Student’s development delays
include physical delays to emotional delays. If a student has delays, they are eligible for special
education services. When finding out students developmental delay teachers and parents can
establish an individualized educational plan for the student. Teachers and parent plans
“individualized educational” plan for the student’s educational future. This provides each
