Dataset : This lab uses the dataset ( Caffeine_exercise ), located on Brightspace under Lab in the
Datasets submodule. Instructions for opening the dataset in SPSS are found as follows.
• SPSS installed on a computer: Reference page 4 of the SPSS Instruction Manual
• SPSS running r emotely: Reference “ SPSS using Light Version access_guidelines ” OR
“SPSS using Citrix access_guidelines” .
The researchers conducting the study are interested in estimating the population mean VO2 max
measured during morning exercise ( VO2Max_Morning ) (check the lab dataset description
document on Brightspace for a reference). They collected the data for 100 subjects.
