Unformatted text preview: 11-7-08Nature/ Society Thought PieceEven though I was a bit late to the last class, sitting through it, I felt that it was one of the most interesting classes that we have had so far this semester. I think it's important that we take some time to reflect both on what we've learned so far and how we could use that to benefit more from the remaining time of this semester, and to better influence our society with the knowledge that we've obtained. We have learned a lot about nature, its past, and how it’s affected us as well as how we've changed it. However, we don't go too far into learning more about how we can change the future. There are so many sides to the arguments that it's hard to agree with one side wholly. We know that everything and the future of our culture and civilization are now in our hands, but we sometimes choose to look past that point and disagree with the arguments just for the fact that we don’t want to bear the burden....
