Experiment (2) In order to start the procedure, the group collected the Unknown Weak Acid 3, pH meter, buffer solutions to calibrate the pH meter, Burettes and NaOH. Then, the Pasco pH meter was connected to the laptop and the pH meter was calibrated both with the acid buffer and the base buffer to check that voltage of the pH meter was that of an appropriate amount. After the calibration, two burettes were set on the stand, one filled up with acid and one with base. 20mL of the acid was first put inside a beaker and the rest of procedure was ready to proceed. Firstly, a test run was done in order to see the approximate position of the equivalence point by dropping 1mL of base each time. And then, it was able to determine that the equivalence point lied somewhere between 19mL of base and 20mL of base and the interval of amounts of base was set according to the results on the test run. When the test run was complete, two sets of trial followed. Between each trial, the pH meter was calibrated to check the voltage flow. The amount interval was almost as
