Forexample, if a customer typically orders a certain quantity of each product, butchanges their order, the company can be thrown off guard and may have troubleobtaining the updated quantities from its supplier.Late deliveries and underfilled shipmentsby the supplier can poseproblems to the company and cause a delay throughout the supply chainprocess.Although a majority of the disruptions listed cannot be controlled by thecompany, I believe there are steps that can be taken to minimize the impact ofthe potential disruptions. The company should consider the above possibilities
