Education serves an important role in molding the young society members to become useful personnel in the society. However, education faces various challenges, more often than not. In his book, “Conflicts Of Interest”, Joel H. Spring explores the political challenges that face education system. In particular, Joel explores the State politics of education and local politics of education in chapters seven and eight respectively. This paper looks into the revelations from the same chapters about education challenges. State Politics of Education The state influences educational values in the country through various issues.
