1. Introduction : 1.1 Purpose : The purpose of the document is to present the detailed description of DirSync Pro by collecting and analyzing all the ideas that have come up to define the system and its requirements with respect to consumers. The document will explain the features, the interfaces of the system, what is the functionality of the system, the constraints under which it must operate and how the system will react to external stimuli. In this document there are ideas that are being considered, but may be jettisoned as the product develops. The purpose of the Requirement document is to provide detailed description of the DirSync Pro, its user interface, functional and non-functional requirements. This document is developed to help software developers and designers to implement and design DirSync Pro. 1.2 Scope : The DirSync Pro will be a powerful utility for file and folder synchronization. The system will be designed to synchronize the contents of one or many folders repeatedly. By using this system one will be able to easily synchronize files from the desktop PC to your USB-stick (/Externa HD/PDA/Notebook ...). Also, the system will be able to incremental backups which saves a lot of time in terms of copying the files each time you need to update a backup. This will maximize the synchronization process and the system will remain easy to understand and use. More specifically, the system will provide the ease of synchronization between two folders and to accomplish this synchronization a variety of modes will be defined in the system to meet specific wishes of the users. The software system performs an analysis, before synchronization, on files and folders and detect any kind of changes to any file/directory in the source. If a file is for example modified, removed, deleted, and renamed in the source the system synchronizes the destination accordingly. The system lets define advanced filters based on filename patterns (textual and regular expression based), file sizes, modification dates, file paths and file Meta data to include or exclude file/directories as desired. DirSync Pro will be having a schedule engine which lets you schedule synchronization tasks on many different ways: minutely, hourly, daily, weekly and monthly. Advanced users will be able to use tons of options available in the system

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
