2 Running Head: Integration of faith and learning Bible Verse on Supply Chain The story of Moses in Exodus, chapter 5 verse 10 -14 gives an excellent example of supply chain management gone wrong. The scripture reads as follows, “ 10 Then the slave drivers and the overseers went out and said to the people, “This is what Pharaoh says: ‘I will not give you any more straw. 11 Go and get your own straw wherever you can find it, but your work will not be reduced at all.’” 12 So the people scattered all over Egypt to gather stubble to use for straw. 13 The slave drivers kept pressing them, saying, “Complete the work required of you for each day, just as when you had straw.” 14 And Pharaoh’s slave drivers beat the Israelite overseers they had appointed, demanding, “Why haven’t you met your quota of bricks yesterday or today, as before?” (Exodus, ch5, vs. 10-14). Pharaoh punished the slave workers by removing a key component or process in order to make their work harder. Pharaoh’s decision to remove the supply chain of Egyptians providing straw for making bricks, broke the chain in the process thus leading to unwanted results and impacting the process end to end.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
