Unformatted text preview: The first essay had him singing the Oscar Mayer theme song to his teacher, while the second one had him singing the Chevrolet theme song. The Oscar Mayer song is much funnier and lightens the mood, and the Chevrolet song is more serious and keeps the serious tone in the essay. I think that he changed the essay to make it more serious and more about his whole experience with music. Not only about him but everyone in his life. The first one was funny and about his experience but I think he wanted to show that there was a lot more influence and events that shaped his view of music from the people around him. So he included everyone that affected his view of music. This in turn made it more serious and about his whole experience with music....
