Mid-term Overview The mid-term has 100 points and is made up of 8-9 essay questions of varying lengths and complexity. Be sure to read each question VERY CAREFULLY and make sure you answer every part of the question. Pay attention to words like “identify” as compared to “explain” or “discuss”. Sometimes all you need to do is provide a definition, other times you need to explain something in greater detail. Look to point totals that are listed throughout the questions, those should give you some indication of how much information you need to provide in your answers. Answer in complete sentences but do not just waste time and space by rewriting portions of the question in your answers. The test is timed. You have two hours to answer the questions. Every minute over two hours that you take to finish the test, you will have two points deducted from your test score. There are two versions of the test and the questions are randomized within each version
