The Erosion in Talofofo River The tour guide took us to part of Talofofo River where erosion was apparent. On parts of the river, there was no evident erosion. I saw this as a problem. Why did some areas have erosion and others did not. I can see this as being a big issue to the residents who depend on the river for daily activities if the erosion is not fixed or worse, starts in different sections of the river. One solution would be to plant more vegetation along the river to keep the soil intact. The roots will help the soil to stabilize, which will prevent erosion from continuing. If vegetation does not help manage or stop the erosion, planting trees
