We have seen reports of violence against women and children being lodged byindividuals. Similarly, the same trend has been on the rise; an upward one with even high risksbeing involved such as death of the victims and many other traumatizing cases. As such, therehave emerged various bodies that seek to address this vice. Ours is one of them, and it has comeup with a program to address this in different communities around the world most of which facethe same problem. For this reason, it is in view of the preceding that this paper highlights howthis organization has arranged to run and manage its activities and how they have impactedonthe society.IntroductionAs earlier mentioned, home-based violence against women and children is not a newword to most of us. It is a vice that has been there for long, but nobody bothered to address theissue. Women and children could suffer in families in silence with no one to come to their rescue.Lucky enough, as time passed by, people have realized the threat this form of violence poses tothe current and future generations. The effects have been adverse especially on children who endup living in fear and leading traumatized lives. As a result of the foreseeable impacts,organizations have established shelter for victims as they look for the way forward.
