Nathan Foust PHI 115 Monday April 14 th Topic Argument I believe that abortion in the case of contraceptive failure is morally permissible. My opinion on the matter is a little biased; I personally believe that abortion is morally right regardless of the situation. This is rooted in my fundamental belief that in America we have above all else freedom. Granted that freedom does not extend to everything as we have already discussed in class, however I do believe that it gives women the right to have some control over their bodies. That being said this is an issue that is about as grey as it gets. So many different things about abortion get people excited or enraged that it can become extremely difficult to have any sort of organized discussion about the matter. In the case of contraceptive failure though the issue becomes much less confusing for me, I wholly believe that abortion should be an option. I base this belief on two reasons. The first, and most important, reason I support abortion in the case of contraceptive failure is that if we
