Alyssa Aston Lunar Eclipse Optional Assignment Planetary Exploration February 22 nd , 2008 Lunar Eclipse: I watched the Lunar eclipse on Wednesday night. This was my first one to watch. I started watching it at 7:45, and watched it every 25 min following that. It was very interesting to watch. It started off with just a little shadow. I think that it had a reddish tint to it. This was the last lunar eclipse until December 2010. There is actually going to be a solar eclipse in august of this year, and a partial lunar one but not a total lunar eclipse. It lasted for about 3 and ½ hours in total.
