Answer any 4 (Four) . Figures in the right-hand margin indicate full marks. Symbols used have their usual meanings. 1. (a) [09] Design an analog computing machine that can determine the solution of a constant- coefficient differential equation with an arbitrary input f(t) given by 7 d 5 y dt 5 + 3 d 3 y dt 3 - 7 dy dt + 13 y = 3 f ( t ) with y IV (0) = y III (0) = - 3 , y II (0) = y I (0) = - 2 , y (0) = 4 (b) [06] Design a circuit using OPAMPS and necessary components that can implement the following arithmetical expression f ( t ) = 7 a 3 b 3 7 c 8 3 + 6 c where a, b and c are the input signals. 2. (a) [10] Design a square/triangular/saw-tooth wave generator circuit having an oscillation frequency of 15 KHz with the square wave peak-to-peak value of 10 V and triangular wave peak-to-peak value of 6 V. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
