Genesis 12, 15, 17, 22
1. Make of you a great nation, bless you, make your name great and bless those who bless
you/curse those who curse you
2. He told his wife to say that she was his sister b/c she was so beautiful so that the
pharaoh wouldn’t kill him so he could take her as his wife, which he did thinking she
was his sister
3. He promised him many descendants, as many as there are stars in the sky.
4. Abram was in a covenant oath with God and was passing through the animal parts and
said that he would be the same thing if he didn’t obey the terms of the agreement
5. Your offspring will be aliens in a land that is not theirs, and shall be slaves there, and
they shall be oppressed for four hundred years
6. They’re both in very old age and beyond ability to have children
7. To test Abraham’s loyalty/faith in God
8. a donkey, two young men and Isaac
9. Angel comes down and calls out to him to stop
10. a ram
11. He’ll bless him and make offspring numerous as the stars/sand on shore, offspring
