A split screen is a paused, hard-edged vertical or horizontal wipe, Most buses are multi-function (mix/effects or M/E for short) – allowing one to delegate what bus feature you use. – cut, wipe, dissolve, key. The buss function is chosen by the delegation control . – mix or wipe Key Buses – allows for internal keys, external keys, chroma-keys, Matte (colorized), Digital effect keys Each key has a background, a key cut and a key fill signal.
