A servo system is a closed-loop system where the feedback signal (position, velocity,acceleration, etc.) drives the motor. This signal acts as an error and based on controller, accurateposition or velocity is achieved. The motors are coupled to an output shaft (load) through agear train for power matching. Servo motor acts as a mechanical transducer as they convert anelectrical signal to an angular velocity or position.WORKING PRINCIPLE:Servo motor works on the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation)principle, which means its angle of rotation is controlled by the duration of pulse applied to itscontrol PIN. Basically, servo motor is made up of DC motor which is controlled by a variableresistor (potentiometer) and some gears.
