MINI FILM ANALYSIS2 Mini Film Analysis Life of Piis a film in which I believe the theme is about coming to terms with you and finding peace within yourself throughout the journey that is life. All this basically boils down to is a theme about self-realization. This theme really focuses on Pi’s conflict within himself as to whether he follows his faith or science. We see throughout the film that he has to combine these two parts of him in order to survive on the lifeboat. The example that is really stuck in my head is the scene with the flying fish. By this point in the film Pi, and Richard Parker, has been on the lifeboat for days without food or fresh water. As the fish start piling up in the lifeboat we see Pi with a look of disbelief on his face. Pi
