Ryan Dance TMA 150 Shirene Bell General Purpose: To persuade Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience to not support large American corporations because they ruin competition, put all dependence on outsourcing, and defeat American identity. Introduction I. Monopolies and huge companies have always existed in American history. A. There have been at least 7 laws and acts passed trying to bring down monopolies (Jackson). B. Large corporations hurt the families of small businessmen, lower the quality of products, and cause the variety of goods to decrease. C. Since small businesses have the inability to globalize due to insufficient funds, the globalization of large corporations ruins competition, puts all dependence on outsourcing, and defeats American identity. II. Small businesses have the inability to globalize due to insufficient funds. A. The globalization of large corporations ruins competition B. Large corporations put all dependence on outsourcing C. American identity is destroyed due to large corporation tactics (Van Parys).
