BYU Police: Killing Time and Fun Imagine all your belongings being lifted from your room, running in to find the thief, and then chasing the thief until they get away in a car. You call the campus police and guess what…they are busy doing something else. You wonder what they are doing. Well let me tell you. They are sitting in the Cougar Eat, jacking bicycles from innocent people, giving tickets to long boarders, ruining movie times, and other such ridiculous activities that police in other areas would not even think of. Attending my very first dance at a party somewhere west of campus, I was having fun and all of a sudden, the music stops and someone yells, “The cops are here.” For some reason I was not even scared. No one runs and everyone just stays and dances. There is no running because nothing wrong is happening. The worst activity that was going on was the Red Bull Pong going on in the back of the room. As I walked outside I saw 10 cop cars at the small dance party. What are they wasting their time on? There is no problem at the dance party.
