Frontal Lobe is the brain’s emotional regulation unit, which shapes our personalities and
influences our decisions. The frontal lobe collects input signals from other lobes of the brain
and is situated at the front of the central sulcus. The Parietal lobe lets us make sense of the
environment around us by processing sensory input for cognitive purposes and coordinating
spatial connections. The parietal lobe is situated behind the central sulcus and above the
occipital lobe in the middle part of the brain. The temporal lobe is situated below the lateral
fissure on the bottom of the brain. The main auditory cortex, which is responsible for
deciphering sounds and language is also located in the temporal lobe. The occipital lobe is
situated behind the parietal and temporal lobes towards the rear of the brain. The primary
function of the occipital lobe is to process auditory input.
